what would we do without diversity in our workplaces ?

What would we do without diversity in our workplaces ?

As most companies seek to expand world-wide and some companies for example ROGERS, BELL, APPLE, MICROSOFT etc. are services used all around the world it is only logical that our workplaces be diverse. Diversity in our worplace, communities, and society shows that all men are equal, and appreciated and every idea is important to make our world what it is. Diversity on a whole is very important as it has been said many times, and should, i belive, continue to be encouraged in the work place.

    Diversity

When a company has become diversified it attracts a greater number of different ethnics groups, who bring to the company fresh ideas, knowledge and experience.

Here are some pointers when making buisness transactions with people from different cultures:

    1) take time to understand and read upon other culture.

    2)  Remember to keep and open mind when doing buisness but don't continue buisness if it disrupts basic values.

    3) Don't make any decisions based on instinct, but if something seems wrong seek it out first, but don't be quick to judge.

Diversity: Why is it important for companies?

Diversity: Why is it important for companies?

In the diagram shown above you will find the percentages of: people willing to give up their jobs due to lack of diversity, the impact diversity has at one's work on a day-to-day basis, and a graph showing the positive impact versus the negative impact diversity has, on a company.

Quote, "Valuing diversity in the workplace is about providing an environment that promotes good working relationships and values differences. It's about adopting best practice management styles” It's about winning customer and staff loyalty".
It’s what balances out our world and makes our workplace somewhere we all want to be.

    Diversity In The Workforce

Diversity in the workplace is very important to a business, as it shows that the company is hiring people of different race, religions, age, ethnic groups etc. to come together and build a good environment in the workplace. This also allows customers to adjust and be comfortable with that company when employees of all genders, race, religions and so, are working to make the customers experience with the company a good one. A company who claims to be a diverse workforce is a excellent job opportunities to those with disabilities as well, which is a good thing, seeing as many with disabilities find it hard to find jobs.
